6th MEDYS Charter Show in the beautiful town of Nafplio – Day 3
Day 3 of the show (our second day) saw mixed weather with sunshine, cloud and quite a bit of wind to stir up the sea.
As always we didn’t manage to view all the yachts we planned to…..
We did however get around to visiting 9 yachts, all stunning in different ways and each and every one of them more than ready to whisk you away on a Mediterranean journey never to be forgotten.
The highlight for Sue and I was most definitely Capri I, the 59 metre Lurssen Superyacht, it is one of my firm beliefs that a Superyacht without a grand piano just doesn’t live up to the title. Capri I definitely delivers here with her Yamaha Grand taking pride of place in the main deck saloon.
For clients who prefer classic lines and stately interiors, Capri I is a definite “must”
Such a beautiful town……..
Forgive me for enthusing over Capri I, with many stunning yachts all under the backdrop of not one, but two castles the MEDYS event is overall a great experience for us, almost too much to take in.
The town of Nafplio itself is a wonderful place to visit, with a warm welcome from the local people, designer shopping in picturesque streets, cafes galore and all under the protection of Acronafplia and Palamidi castles, ever present throughout the town. The historic importance of Nafplio is further evinced by the Venetian harbour fort of Bourtzi standing sentry in the centre of the harbour entrance.
