Bozburun is the respected home of traditional gulet building, the shipyards though are not the industrialised specimens of the imagination, more a quaint reflection on a long past low tech industrial age. The silver coloured roof of the mosque dominates over the red tiled rooves of the town when entered from seaward and presents a most pleasing picture.

Bozuk Buku or Loryma on the south of the Bozburun peninsula is perfectly placed as an afternoon and overnight stopover, a single restaurant ashore is a great place to sip a coffee and watch out over the yachts in the bay. A ruined castle stands guard at the entrance to the bay presumably to deter the day trip boats which tend not to frequent this quiet little bay.
