Where Alonissos may be called blue and white Skopelos is definitely green and blue. Almost entirely covered in pine forest down to the lapping waters of the Aegean, the forestation unfrequently broken by the towns and villages dotted around the coast. Inland further breaches in the pine trees are filled with olive groves along with plum and almond orchards.
